- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Great rates but I too had a simple refinance and it took almost 7 weeks to get it done. There is a total disconnect in communications. I had been given a closing date but couldn't get any confirmation after numerous calls and e-mails. Finally had to go up the ladder and the manager wouldn't talk to me so I sent the e-mail string to him with the date that I was given and all of the subsequent requests to confirm. Within hours I received call from the TITLE company to schedule it and was told that they didn't know that a date had been given to me. I know they do a lot of volume but seriously, I've never experienced such poor service. At least I expected to have gotten a call back from someone in the bank with an apology.By Kent Royer, June 03, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have refinanced 3 times with GSB and have had nothing but ease of doing business, clarity with expectations, and a simple and honest transaction. GSB never sells loans as they are a selling outlet for Fannie or Freddie. I have dealt with Jean S and so have all my friends.By Robert a, April 10, 2017
